Blessings and business do go together as blessings in other aspects of life. I came into this business unexpectedly in 1991,from a background in journalism and editing. Within six weeks of taking an aptitude test at the University of BC's Women's Resources Centre,now the UBC Life and Care Centre to determine a different direction for my career, I found myself taking a leap of faith from having no intention of owning a business to standing behind the counter as its new owner.Within six weeks! Now blessings may happen , but that's just the beginning of the hard work!

It had come about with some synchronicity , but what better training for paying attention to detail than the 5Ws of a journalism degree from Ryerson University, many years in public relations and publications management, and the critical eye of a technical editor?

Coming into this industry from that background brought special qualities in another form: I relate easily to the various management levels in business that contact us.They know they can get their orders made quickly and accurately--and frequently pick our brains for an idea or two,as well!
