Consider, that in following trends such as a hand-tied bouquet, the stems may pick the fabric so you may want the stems wrapped or have the flowers arranged into an upright bouquet holder so that it appears as if hand-tied and also give day-long water access.

It doesn't mean throwing taste out the window with a man's boutonnier I saw once, limp baby's breath--and a bow!
